Feedback on RUNSTOP

Yo Vinz,

With your 285S installed,
Braking of my vehicle improve tremendously, as i dun have to depressed too much on the brakes to stop the car as compared to stock.
The speedo speed decreases faster then stock too with lesser effort on the brakes. Even wet weathers, is the same thing!
Really felt safer with this set of brakes and the confident is there for the car to stop.

For the next stage, you may want to consider the rear NANO shoes or Extreme Kit to improve the brake bias balance

Thanks for initial feedback, glad you find the improvement with the Sport Kit and all round NANO pads. They will improve further after ~500kms with much shorter braking distance with low low dust and much improved pedal feel as our disc & pads do not need much compression to work so you can use your original rubber brake hose as our cars do on track.

Do provide more feedback after run in is completed

Not forgetting the great and prompt services from you and the workshop. Especially you taking time and effort for running in my ride after installation and activating the ABS.

I'm very pleased with the Sports Kit 282mm with Curved slots (front) + Nano pads (front & rear).

I could already see and feel the significant difference yesterday evening and night while I was driving my family (full load - 4 adults & 2 children) around. The brake pedal feel is so much better and especially the stopping distance. I have never experienced this with my stock. Cant wait till the run in after 500 km.

Till then I will give another round of FR.

As promised, my initial feedback as below (i will post more after my brakes have fully run-in)

First of all, thanks alot for running around sim ming and fixed my worn drum this morning! Greatly appreciated that! You r indeed someone who wants to do the job Right on the very first attempt I din realise my rear drum was so badly damaged by my prevous rear shoes.. *faint*..

Even though i'm still running in the brakes, I did pushed my pro kit at several points on my way to work in the afternoon. I must admit it really BITES!! The truth is.. I was so not used to the initial braking and i had to back off alot on my brake pedal to prevent several potential E-brakes.. the braking is just so instant and accurate at where i want the car to stop. (Previously, i had to brake alot on my stock brakes and yet the car doesn't really stop where i want it to be..) Now i'm already saving for the rear disc conversion kit to have a more balanced braking effect on the ride

Pro Kit 314 in 16" SSR rims on GE6 with Skyroof with NANO pads & rear shoes





Note the thick red brake dust by Ext**m* brake shoe.The high metal content causes deep scouring is seen.


The abrasive E*t*em* brake shoe cause heavy wear on the drum, a step is seen (red circle)


We had to skim the internal of the drum

Well.....what can i say further about the Sports Kit & NANO pads

The result speaks for itself & the products live up to it's name.

No regrets for me......All dumbs UP for the products....

The stopping distance is simply SUPERB!!!! not forgetting the improved brake pedal feel & low dust impact to the rims.

Now I could drive confidently knowing my brakes can really work for me and save me during emergency.

Another satisfied customer with Sport Kit on Latio and NANO front pads & rear shoes

Ok as promised, I have passed the 500km mark on the sport kit. I must say the braking has improved greatly from stock. Didn't notice any brake dust around the rims, which is typical for aftermarket brake upgrades. I am a heavy footed, high spirited driver, mind you.

And I like the brake modulation I get with the RUNSTOP Curve Slot Brake Disc and Nano pads. Its not too stiff that feels like you're grinding the rotors everytime you brake for the red light. But it really grips when you need to, especially during emergency braking. It helped me stop in time on the wet Friday morning, when the front cars ended up in chain collision, save me.

I must really thank Vincent for introducing such a top notch product to the Lations....

Frankly I recommend it to all the Latio bros....Its fairly cheap for such a performance upgrade...

Nice meeting you last Monday.

Here is how I feel after more than one week of using the RunStop Brakes sport kit.

- It's definitely very effecient than stock brake system.
- Soft and hard braking feels good and smooth.
- Very quiet. No screeching noise at all.
- Minimum brake dust noticed. Before this upgrade, I need to wash my front rims twice a week. Now I have not wash them for about one week plus and they still looks bright/ clean.

Great service and friendly person. Help me to run-in the disc and brake pad as well as tuning the ABS.

The braking improvement can be felt immediately. My brake pedal is much higher.
I just have to depress the pedal a little to slow down and stop my car.
Like what Vincent has mentioned, the braking is more linear and easier to modulate.
Braking confident level has been raised. Love my car deep, deeper, deepest now. :love4:

A word of advise. If you see cars with RunStop sticker at the back, dont tailgate! Keep at least 4 cars distance!
